2 min less walking in the mornings; the guy next door plays GOOD music which is a positive change; they’re all really nice and they dont keep me awake all night! Me luv it!

Ojojoj. Jag flyttade idag; rummet e större men. Suck. Köket är lika stökigt som det förra. I rummet intill är musiken på på högsta volym och tydligen är det så rätt ofta. De verkar trevliga; men jag undrar om det kommer bli så mycket bättre här…

Not all my fault though; lack of sleep and energy makes it difficult to write.

I am moving on wednesday though; and hopefully that means I’ll be able to sleep

Am on yards this week though so I’ll still be really tired.

This term hasn’t really been much fun so far; it hasn’t been terrible, it’s just been tough

And my housemates are driving me completely crazy; the kitchen is a state, they keep me awake at night,

they eat MY food. I don’t want to move though.. Despite me hating them I like them a lot. I dont know.

May I go home soon? =D actually yes;  daddy and youngest sister are coming in six weeks and then I’m going home with them!

Can’t wait.

I sometimes wish I was an expert at this; especially today. I have nothing to do.

Well; apart from the budgeting assignment; but I don’t understand it so I can’t be bothered..

My room is well-organised, most of the laundry is done, I have nothing to study and no responsibilities that require my attention.

I have checked my facebook account twice; my email accounts countless times; read my friends blog; I checked out the first lecture I’m having next week.

I seriously can’t think of anything to do.

Okej; här kommer ett häst-igt inlägg; ber om ursäkt men allvarligt; jag är såå glad att jag har de fodervärdar jag har på Dream; de har haft honom i fem månader nu och ändå funkar allt; dom är uppmärksamma; noggranna och älskar honom. Bättre kunde jag inte ha fått!

Fast jag saknar min lilla prins; red en kompis häst igår; mitt självförtroende har varit uselt ända sen jag kom tillbaks i princip så hon slängde upp mig på sin unghäst Spike; guuuuud så roligt; han var så lydig och rolig, skrittade bara men oj vilken häst! Hjälpte; hade vanlig ridlektion idag och det gick riktigt bra; det är inte varje dag jag får hästen att gå i form och oftast håller den inte spec länge; idag klarade jag mer än halva lektionen; vilken känsla!

Final exam today not really looking forward to it cause I haven’t really studied much…

But hey; if I pass I pass; and the fact is I will pass the module whether I pass the exam or not..

My 10 000 word essay payed off

Oh my I am sooo bored; I hate doing laundry. Could one not just by new clothes instead?

See as far as I knew there were only two Swedish students in Aberystwyth, me and one other I’d heard of.

Hence I jumped high and couldn’t help staring when someone suddenly started speaking Swedish in the store the other day.

Not one but three as it turned out; I considered introducing myself; I mean even though I have constantly claimed I prefer

avoiding swedes abroad there is something very comforting in being able to speak Swedish every now and then… I didn’t though;

sort of regret it now; on one hand I can speak as much Swedish as I like back home, but I am slightly homesick these days.

Passed my anatomy exam with brilliance this morning. One exam left now and I’ve already passed that module so…

You my dear are only as alone as you choose to be; as is anyone else.

Cleaned the stupid kitchen today; not that there’s much point doing so.

But it did feel good and it looks nice. And it meant I could avoid revising

for a bit longer.. Seriously; equine anatomy isn’t half as interesting as it

sounds; well some parts are but tell you what; I don’t think its logical to

name the back/tail-most part of the horse caudal (meaning in the direction

of the tail) and then when your talking about the lower (distal) part of the

front-leg you say palmar  instead of caudal; and change it again for the hind-

leg where the back of the distalpart of the leg is referred to as being the plantar

side. Make any sense to you?

If it does please explain..

I cannot believe it; I sent my CV to place in New Zeeland yesterday thinking

I´d get an answer in a week or so saying something along the lines of ”Sorry,

we’re not hiring at the moment”.

But guess what?! They MAY have a postition for me!

This is crazy!

What is wrong I wonder?

Jag ville INTE åka. Stalltjänst, ansvar; fan va jobbigt, och får inte träffa någon hemifrån på tre månader.

Men när jag äntligen hamnat på rätt tåg och rullade in i walsiska småstäderna på väg till Aber blev jag faktiskt på gott humör; det var ju visserligen mörkt men jag hade inga problem att känna igen mig på stationerna i Welshpool, Newtown (Drenewydd), Caersws, Machynlleth (uttala det du!), Dovey Junction, Borth och slutligen Aberystwyth.

Där var vädret inte ens halvtrevligt; varmt men blåsigt och regnigt, klockan var typ tolv (vi var två och en halv timme försenade) och endast några få taxibilar stod utanför stationen, släpade väskjäkeln till första bästa (tack för de nya hjulen föresten pappa; de funkar =)) och kom sen slutligen hem till huset.

Bara att kliva upp klockan sju i morse och gå till stallet åtta, mocka två boxar och sen ösa skit på gödselstacken. Händerna gjorde ganska ont efter att ha haft en månad ledigt och återfått normaltjock hud, de tål inte så mkt längre, måste ha handskar på i morgon. Men jag e rätt glad ändå =)

Det är skönt att vara hemma.

So this is what its like? Well now I know; and I though I might share!

Have spent the last seven days working on yards twice per day; have not cooked more than once; the rest of the time its been fish n’ chips or fastfood.

Yesterday I spent most of my day finishing my accountancy assignment; managed to do so through some miracle in the late afternoon, it has taken approximately 8-10 hours of work all together.

Then in the evening I went out with friends; til 3.20 am; got up at 12 and worked until now;

I’ve managed to finish my assignment on Equine Breeding; a 2 year planner for the handling of a stallion and a mare; every vaccination, hormonetreatment, hoof trimming, feed change, everyday exercise, etc. everything; it has taken more than 30 hours (spread out over the last two weeks as I was to lazy to begin earlier); the planner is 58 pages and the comments cover 8 pages; totally 10 189 words! Not Alléskolan exactly…

And guess what? I’m far from done; I still have to print these off and also do a sevenpage labreport on the horses digestive tract and a 2000 word essay on the swedish harness racing accompanied by a 10 slide powerpoint and an exel spreadsheet with data related to the essay; both of these are due on tuesday; guess what I’ll be doing tomorrow?

This morning I encountered a very upset door.
Well, rather a door with three A4 papers covered
in upset comments, but encountering an upset
door sounds more intriguing.

Anyway; these upset comments on the door made
me smile; although I’m sure the author most likely
had hoped his work would produce a different
reaction. But I did smile because someone else
in the house finally mastered up the courage to
complain about the terrible state of the kitchen.

I live in student accommodation; there are six of
us sharing bathrooms and kitchen; three of us
are actually quite good as far as house mates go; we do our
own washing-up, clean up after our selves etc.
Now; I don’t want to offend anyone; but they are
pigs. And ever since we came here I’ve been
nagging at them to clean up after themselves;
help take out the garbage and so on.

The other two have not complained out loud;
but now; finally one of them had enough. Hopefully
we will be cleaning tonight; hopefully; and then maybe
I’ll be able to make breakfast without having to take
extra health precautions.
